How have you been involved with Casson & Friends?

I recently worked with Casson & Friends as a placement student for the past 10 weeks as part of my dance degree with Kingston University London! It has been thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding to learn more about how Casson & Friends facilitate, and to have the opportunity to complete tasks set by Tim and Ian which are beneficial to the company and the development of my experience in the industry! I am very grateful for my time with them!

What do you love about dance?

It would be fair to say dance is an art form which provides a variety of rewarding avenues. It never fails to provide escapism, creativity and ultimate enjoyability whenever I connect with it. Being not only a way to express yourself throughout physical activity, it also allows individuals to communicate on many levels. Dance has its own innovative language deserves to be experienced by all.

What song always makes you dance?

There isn’t a song that doesn’t get me moving! But I would say a favourite of mine would be ‘Let’s Go Round Again’ by Average White Band as my brother and I have loved it from a young age, it never gets old!

What else are you working on at the moment?

At the moment I am working with a choreographer on a concept video for artist Josie Man on her new single ‘Grow’ which I am super excited to see develop. I am also just coming to the end of a project which has involved delivering dance workshops to the elderly over Zoom which has been very rewarding! Moreover, Sarina and I’s creative output #DanceOfChance is in full swing and I cannot wait to see the finished result!
