How have you been involved with Casson and Friends?

I am currently a third year dance student at Kingston University working with Casson & Friends as part of my placement for my final year. I have been working with Tim discussing ideas for social media content, website management as well as reviewing current projects and working on my own creative project!

What do you love about dance?

I love how dance can be a way to escape from the outside world for a little while, whether that be taking part performing or watching dance, I feel it creates a sense of escapism. Dance also has a way of including everyone. The industry at the moment is inspiring, I love seeing people of all ages and abilities taking part in dance classes or dance events.

What song always makes you dance?

It changes from week to week! But I think at the moment its Everybody Talks by Neon Trees.

What else are you working on at the moment?

I am working on a piece for a graduate production exploring the idea of conflict. I have started writing a blog exploring all the highs and lows I’ve experienced so far during my dance career. I am also working with my fellow placement, Louisa on an exciting creative project #DanceOfChance that you can see here!
